Grays Harbor and Pacific County are tied for the 2nd worst unemployment numbers in Washington. Ironically unemployment rates for both counties went down for April, but not as much as the rest of the state. Grays Harbor’s unemployment number dropped a whole point from March to 6.6 percent in April while Pacific County’s number went from a 7.8 in March to 6.6 last month. Ferry county, at 8.2 percent had the highest unemployment rate in the state.
