The two federal grants will help establish Upward Bound programs.

Grays Harbor College has been awarded $2.8 million dollars to help low-income area high school students go to college.  The two federal grants will help establish Upward Bound programs that will help a combined 120 students per year at Raymond, Ocosta, and Hoquiam high schools earn their diplomas and then pursue higher education at Grays Harbor College.  The programs will be funded for the next five years and will begin this September.
