There’s a heads up for voters in Hoquiam ahead of a special election. City officials say a typo added an extra zero to the ballot title for a measure tied to a new fire truck. They say it was a proofing error and doesn’t change the measure or invalidate your ballot. Voters are being told it’s still okay to go ahead and vote as planned.
