Just after midnight Saturday, a 29-year-old man was in the parking lot with a gunshot wound.

A Hoquiam man is found shot in the YMCA parking lot. Just after midnight Saturday, a 29-year-old man was in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. According to a press release from Hoquiam PD, it's believed that the wounded man along with another man from Ocean Shores got into an altercation with residents at a nearby location, resulting in the shooting. The victim was last said to be in stable condition after being flown to a hospital in Tacoma. The investigation is ongoing.
