Authorities are reminding everyone that Even though weekend temperatures are projected to be in the mid to high 80's, local rivers are still rather cold and water flow is faster than normal. If you do visit one of the local waterways, keep in mind that cold water can cause your body to go into shock which could increase your chances of drowning.
