Median New Home Prices Have Gone Up

The data also showed a slight decrease in the number of home sales.

The median price for a new home in Grays Harbor has gone up by $65,000 since last year.  In the latest data provided by Northwest Multiple Listing Service, the average single family home price in January of last year was $270,000 and in January of 2022 it was $335,350.   The data also showed a slight decrease in the number of home sales.  108 homes sold in January 2021, compared to 103 homes sold this past January.  Experts tell “The Daily World” the reason for the increase is there are more people wanting to move to Grays Harbor than there are homes available.  The hottest place to move in the county is Ocean Shores.  Home prices went up by 50 percent there and as of January the average home price was over $400,000.
