Montesano City Forest Closed To Public

Police say they are now closed to public traffic due to the fire danger.

The Montesano City Forest is closed off to the public. Montesano Police report the trails from Lake Sylvia State Park into those forest lands can only be accessed by hikers or bikers. The access roads to the forest are off Clear View Drive, Val Vista Drive, Camp Creek Road, and West Satsop Road. These roads have logging road access to the city forest, however, police say they are now closed to public traffic due to the fire danger.
