National Drug Take-Back Tomorrow

Allowing you to properly dispose of unwanted or outdated prescription medication.

Local agencies will be taking part in the National Drug Take Back Day tomorrow. The event that was started through the DEA allows you to properly dispose of unwanted or outdated prescription medication. Both the Aberdeen and Hoquiam police departments will participate tomorrow from 10am until 2pm. You are invited to bring any unwanted prescription drugs to the department lobbies safely get rid of it, no questions asked. Officials say getting rid of unneeded medication can help prevent drug abuse and overdoses. You can also find disposal drop boxes and several area pharmacies year-round.
