Summer tourism numbers in Ocean Shores are looking good. In a recently released report, city officials say summer visitor traffic was about 100,000 more than what it was right before the pandemic. In addition, the three city sponsored festivals were all back this year and had better attendance than in years past. Tax collections were up as well with property tax revenue increasing 4 percent and sales tax income rose by 5 percent.
