Local law enforcement is inviting you to a free summer safety event later this month. The Badges & Brews Summer Safety Event will be on June 15th at the East Aberdeen Starbucks. There will be fun for the whole family with appearances by McGruff the Crime Dog and Sparky the fire dog as well as the Aberdeen and Hoquiam Police k-9 officers. There will be bike helmets and free life vests for kids along with Starbucks samples and a coffee drinking contest. There will be music and activities from 6-8pm and to learn more, just check out the flyers on the Hoquiam or Aberdeen Police Facebook page
