Hoquiam Police say vehicle prowls are on the rise
Hoquiam police say four reports of vehicle thefts since the beginning of May is a good reminder for everyone to lock up your cars and never keep valuable inside your vehicle. Meanwhile, early yesterday morning, while HPD officers were investigating a suspicious truck, they found that that F-350 had been reported stolen out of Seattle. A social media report also says there was a man in that truck when officers approached, that had felony warrants for his arrest. Officers also found bolt cutters and other various tools in the truck along with at least one credit card not in that man’s name. The man was booked into jail with charges pending.
