Want to make a change?

Are you looking to make changes in your community? Today is the end of filing day for those that want to run for office in Washington state.

Today is the end of filing day for those who want to run for a political office in Washington state.  In the latest update there are now three candidates running for state representative of the 24th District. Incumbent Steve Tharinger filed to run again this week and will face two challengers, Brian Pruitt and Darren Corcoran.  Meanwhile, although there are 10 Washington residents who have filed to run against incumbent U.S. Senator Patty Murray, none of them are from Pacific or Grays Harbor County.  There are also no local candidates filed to run against House Rep Derick Kilmer. If you’d like to file to run for an elected office, you can do it online at the Washington Secretary of State’s website.
