Even as the price of crude oil fell slightly and the national average of gasoline also dropped a bit, AAA says Washington state’s average price at the pump hit a record high this week. That record of 4-74 a gallon was hit on Tuesday and since then the dipping oil price and a small decrease in demand has the statewide gas average today at 4-72 per gallon, the same as last Friday. Gasbuddy reports prices as low at 4-69 per gallon in Aberdeen yesterday and as high as 4-99 per gallon in Raymond. The national average is $4.27 per gallon today, a nickel cheaper than last week.
