An Elma police officer is credited with taking deadly drugs off the street. The Daily World reports that late last week, an Elma police officer spotted a suspected stolen vehicle and with the help of McCleary PD and the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department, made a traffic stop and while searching the vehicle, found suspected fentanyl pills. The 47-year-old driver was arrested on charges that include possession of a stolen car and possession of illegal drugs. At last check, the person’s name had not been released.
