In the first, a shoplifting suspect at Safeway brandished a knife, fled on a bicycle, and was apprehended moments later; the individual now faces multiple charges, including theft and unlawful display of a weapon. The second case involved a suspect with a Department of Corrections warrant who fled on a bicycle but was caught several blocks away, leading to charges of resisting arrest, obstruction, and possession of methamphetamine.
