One suspect who tried to run from cops on foot attempted to steal a Roomba vacuum.
Aberdeen Police assisted Walmart over the weekend in catching shoplifters. A one-day blitz was done this past Saturday where Abeerdeen officer worked with Walmart to identify and arrest shoplifters. 10 arrests were made in the effort with roughly $1,100 in merchandise recovered. The Daily World reports items taken were mostly not food related, but rather alcohol, clothing, and sporting goods. One suspect who tried to run from cops on foot attempted to steal a Roomba vacuum.
