An East County Town Hall meeting is set for Thursday evening. The event is being put on by the Elma Police Department and Destination Hope and Recovery and is a chance to discuss the effects of Opioids in our Community. This event will be available in person at the Elma City Hall, via Zoom and Facebook live for those hesitant to participate in person. Along with an open dialog about overdose prevention and awareness, the lifesaving medication Narcan will be distributed to those who attend in person and training will be given on how to administer it if needed.
