The group beat out the Driftwood Players and Montesano PTO.

Grays Harbor Youth Works walked away with a $14,000 boost last week after a close vote at the 100+ Harbor Women Who Care event in Hoquiam. The group beat out the Driftwood Players and Montesano PTO, winning support for its internship program that pairs high school students with real-world job experiences. The room was packed with community leaders, donors, and plenty of local pride as ballots were counted. Organizers say The next giving event is already on the calendar for March 10 at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge.
