A hunter who fell down a steep embankment near Naselle is safe after a tough rescue Tuesday afternoon. Deputies, firefighters, and the Coast Guard teamed up to reach him in a remote stretch of forest, treating his injuries before hoisting him to safety. The operation took hours and help from multiple agencies working side by side. The sheriff’s office says they’re grateful for everyone involved and hopeful the hunter makes a full recovery.
