Drivers in Elma could see a lower speed limit on part of Monte-Elma Road. The City Council will hold a public hearing next Monday, July 20, at 6 p.m. to consider changing the speed limit on the stretch between Elma Elementary School and the old city limits near Faith Lutheran Church. City officials say the proposal is based on a recent speed study and they're looking for public input before making a decision. Residents can attend the meeting or submit written comments to the City Clerk before the hearing.
