More than $780,000 has been approved by Grays Harbor Commissioners for rental assistance in 2024. An amendment to the Consolidated Homeless Grant contract was approved by the county on Tuesday. Renters who meet a low-income threshold can apply for assistance with delinquent payments. Due to the demand for assistance, priority will go to those at greatest risk of becoming homeless. The country has partnered with Coastal Community Action Program and the Equity Institute to disperse the funds.
