Yesterday, residents in the Ocean Beach School District rejected a $96 million bond proposal that would have, among other items, built a new elementary school as well as other construction and renovation projects within the district. There were just over 3,900 votes cast with an overwhelming 78 percent rejecting the bond proposal.
