One person is airlifted to the hospital after a two-car crash in McCleary Sunday afternoon. The wreck
was called in just after 3:30pm Sunday at the corner of State Route 8 and SR 108. Washington State
Patrol says a driver at the stop sign on 108 and turned into the path of another car driving westbound on
State Route 8. The 38-year-old driver in the car that pulled out into oncoming traffic had to be airlifted
to Harborview Medical Center. No other injuries were reported. Troopers say that driver failed to yield
the right of way and charges are pending.
