Police Investigating Shooting On Cherry Street

Shortly after 10:00 PM Monday night, police and medics were dispatched to the scene regarding an underaged teen with a gunshot wound.

Hoquiam Police are investigating a shooting that happened last night on Cherry Street. Shortly after 10:00 PM Monday night, police and medics were dispatched to the scene regarding an underaged teen with a gunshot wound. EMS transported him to the hospital for treatment. Cops say this appears to have been a targeted attack and there is no concern for public safety. Anyone in the area with home surveillance is asked to look at footage between 10pm and 10:15pm last night and if you find information that might help this case, contact Hoquiam Police on their non-emergency number.
