A scheduled test of Grays Harbor County’s tsunami warning sirens didn’t go as planned.
A scheduled test of Grays Harbor County’s tsunami warning sirens didn’t go as planned earlier this week. In a Monday social media post, Grays Harbor County Emergency Management said the AHAB sirens failed to sound because of technical problems during testing. Emergency managers say they’re now working with the manufacturer to figure out what caused the failure and how to correct it. As of Thursday morning, there still had not been any updated information posted by the county.
