Aberdeen city council meeting, members will look at recommendations from a fireworks committee.
At this week’s Aberdeen city council meeting, members will look at recommendations from a fireworks committee to change city code where the mayor could put a fireworks ban in place during dry or dangerous weather conditions. As it stands, Washington state laws says if a city wants an ordinance to put more rules on fireworks that are more restrictive than the state rules, the city must wait a year before such an ordinance can take effect. The city council could have a first reading at the for a change in rules at tomorrow’s regular meeting.
