After a full week of candidate filing, 138 contenders are running for 103 offices in Grays Harbor County’s August primary election.

After a full week of candidate filing, 138 contenders are running for 103 offices in Grays Harbor County’s August primary election. Voters will see packed races for several city council and mayoral races, including four candidates for mayor in Oakville and two in McCleary. Aberdeen’s Ward 2 race drew four hopefuls, while the hospital board and school district contests also drew multiple candidates. The full list is posted at VoteWA.gov, with primary races set to narrow the field ahead of November’s general election.
