The academy allowed the participants to acquire a better understanding of law enforcement.
The 2024 West County Citizens Academy has wrapped up after 16 weeks of training. The academy allowed the participants to acquire a better understanding of law enforcement and gain new perspectives on not only what officers do, but why police do things the way they do. The Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Cosmopolis police departments want to thank everyone who took part in this latest academy and say for anyone who is interested, the next citizens police academy will be recruiting this fall.
