Aberdeen police released details of a DUI traffic stop last week that turned into a drug bust. Around 11:20pm last Wednesday night, a driver reported a man sleeping in his vehicle in the middle of the intersection. When cops arrived, the vehicle was gone but officers soon spotted the man driving erratically and puled him over. Officer’s detained the man for suspicion of DUI and after a search of the vehicle at the impound lot, firearms, $8,000 in cash, along with gold coins and bars estimated at $30,000 were discovered along with a large amount of marijuana. The man was booked on several drug related charges.
