Eastbound Elma Safety Rest Area On Route 8 To Close For Maintenance

Starting tomorrow May 3rd and will go until Wednesday May 4th.

A reminder that starting tomorrow the Elma Safety Rest Area on the eastbound side of route 8 will be closed for maintenance and repairs. The department of transportation says the scheduled annual closure will be starting tomorrow May 3^rd and will go until Wednesday May 4^th from 7am until 4pm both days. Crews will be doing a deep cleaning of the restrooms, picking up litter, clearing any overgrown vegetation and making any needed repairs.
