Pacific County Sheriff’s Office is asking you to show up and support local rescue teams.

A fundraising event is happening Saturday, and the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office is asking you to show up and support local rescue teams. A fundraiser is set for July 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Long Beach Elks Lodge, with tickets costing $20 and including wine and appetizers. Organizers hope to raise $75,000 for new gear like wetsuits, radios, helmets, and a rescue truck.
