The City of Elma officially launched its new TextMyGov service this month to improve communication with residents and visitors.

The City of Elma officially launched its new TextMyGov service this month to improve communication with residents and visitors. Starting April 21, residents began receiving text alerts from 91896 with updates on events, emergencies, and service interruptions. Those who didn’t get the initial message can opt in anytime by texting “ELMA” to 91896 and replying “YES” to confirm. City officials say the service will make it easier to stay informed and connected.
