According to the release so far the circumstances surrounding the fire do not seem suspicious however a cause has not been determined.
The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a person died in a mobile home fire early Friday. According to a press release, the South Beach Regional Fire Authority was called out to the fire on Astoria Lane in the Johns River area around 3:40am Friday. Fire crews soon learned that someone was in the structure at the time of the fire and called in the sheriff’s department to investigate the matter. Few details were released with authorities saying a positive i.d. had not ben made.
