State law requires each county to establish a homeless housing task force.
Members of the Grays Harbor Community are invited to a meeting of the Homeless Housing Taskforce this Friday. State law requires each county to establish a homeless housing task force to develop a five-year homeless housing plan addressing short-term and long-term housing for homeless persons. If the county did not create the task force, the state would have taken the lead on the effort. Meetings are usually held in the Harbor Room of the Pearsall Building in Aberdeen. This Friday’s meeting runs from 11am until 1pm and the is an online option. Go to the Grays Harbor Public Health Facebook page for more information.
