While students are on summer break, there will be some major renovation projects going on through the Aberdeen school district. In addition to new turf being put in at Stewart Field, the junior high bleachers will also be demolished, and a new support building will be constructed that will include a ticket booth, restrooms, and storage. Crews will also be painting at Robert Gray Elementary and Stevens School. A new roof will be put up at the Maintenance Department shop and new windows will be put in at the administration building.
