The Coastal Interpretive Center has announced the installation of a new Motus Tower in Ocean Shores. The Motus Wildlife Tracking System tracks migratory shore birds along the Pacific Flyway through use of radio telemetry. Birds are tagged in a non-invasive manner and the tags give off signals the Motus Towers will receive. The Coastal Interpretive Center will join a large group of collaborators who use the data gathered in research and education.
