Rolling out a new way for people to lend a hand without locking into a set schedule.
A Hoquiam animal shelter is rolling out a new way for people to lend a hand without locking into a set schedule. North Beach PAWS says its new PAWS Pals program lets volunteers drop in during set times to help with cat care, cleanup, or the weekly garage sale. No experience is required, and volunteers can stay as long or as short as they like. Details on how to get involved are available through the shelter.
