Next Thursday to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks

The Ocean Shores Fire Department and VFW Post 8956 will host a 9/11 memorial ceremony next Thursday to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The event begins at 9 a.m. at the Ocean Shores Fire Department on Point Brown Avenue NE. Organizers say it’s a time to honor the lives lost and the sacrifices of first responders who answered the call that day. The public is invited to stand in remembrance and solidarity during the tribute.
