A free community workshop on scams and fraud is set for later this month in Ocean Shores. 1st Security Bank and the Ocean Shores Police Department are teaming up to help residents learn how to spot and avoid financial scams. The event takes place January 23 at the Ocean Shores Library. Organizers say the session will offer practical tips people can use right away to protect themselves. It’s free to attend, with refreshments served and no sign-up required.
