The US congresswoman representing Washington’s third district was in Pacific County this week to meet with the community. Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez was at the Willapa Bay Community Center in South Bend on Tuesday for the start of a series of town hall events planned throughout her district. The congresswoman was first elected in 2022 so these town halls are a chance for her to meet many constituents for the first time. She spoke for about 75 minutes on topics concerning Pacific County residents. She has more town halls planned for Lewis County this month and Thurston County next month.
