The Village Club is hosting public forums October 1 and 2 at the Ocean Park fire hall, with 12 candidates confirmed and others sending statements.

Voters on the Long Beach Peninsula will get a chance to meet local candidates next week. The Village Club is hosting public forums October 1 and 2 at the Ocean Park fire hall, with 12 candidates confirmed and others sending statements. The races include seats on port commissions, the fire district, hospital board, and local school board. If you can’t make it in person, the forums will also be streamed online through the Village Club’s Facebook page.
