While much of the country saw a slight dip in gas prices heading in to the Memorial Day weekend, Washington state’s average ticked up to a record high. AAA has the statewide average at $5.21 per gallon today, two cents more than last Friday and 53 cents higher than just one month ago. Grays Harbor is a few cents more than the state’s average, at $5.26 per gallon today. Pacific County average price at the pump is up to $5.41 per gallon. If you’re traveling this weekend, Seattle’s average is $5.36 per gallon and Portland’s average is at $5.25 today.
