101 Simpson Avenue Bridge Detour Starts Today

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily through Thursday.

If you’re crossing between Aberdeen and Hoquiam, plan for delays as the 97-year-old US 101 Simpson Avenue Bridge closes for repairs starting today,. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily through Thursday, crews will repair cracks in the bridge’s steel beams, reinforcing them with steel plates. Traffic will be rerouted to the US 101 Riverside Bridge, which will temporarily allow two-way travel. For questions, contact the Washington State Department of Transportation at (360) 357-2600.
