The Aberdeen City Council awards more than $100,000 in tourism grants at its most recent meeting. The Aberdeen City Council approved $110,000 in Lodging Tax Advisory Committee grants to 11 applicants during last Wednesday’s meeting at Grays Harbor College. Recipients include community events like the Aberdeen Founders’ Day Parade, Grays Harbor Pride Festival, and Rain Glow, as well as city projects for beautification and traffic control. The funds aim to boost tourism and attract visitors to town.
