According to school officials, a threat was posted to a school’s social media account late Saturday. The
messenger was deleted by the poster on Sunday morning. Aberdeen police have started an
investigation into finding out who posted the message. Superintendent Jeffrey Thake thanked the
Aberdeen police for their quick response to the situation adding “The safety of our students and staff is
our highest priority”. All after school programs are also called off for today in Aberdeen. Anyone with
information on who made the post is asked to contact the police at the department’s non-emergency
