Getting important information from the City of Aberdeen is about to get a lot easier. The city has rolled out a new mass notification system that can send updates directly to phones and email addresses. Alerts will cover emergencies, severe weather, utility outages, traffic impacts, public works projects, and other important city information. Fire Chief Dave Golding says the system will help keep residents informed, connected, and better prepared. Community members can sign up for the free service now at the city's website.
