Grays Harbor County Commission To Review Possible Salary Adjustments

Because 2026 is an election year, the commission can consider salary changes for offices with terms ending this year.

A Grays Harbor County commission will meet Thursday to review possible salary adjustments for county elected officials. The Citizens’ Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials is scheduled to meet at 11am, and public comment will be accepted during the meeting. Because 2026 is an election year, the commission can consider salary changes for offices with terms ending this year. Washington law does not allow elected officials’ salaries to be reduced during their current terms.
