A written threat found inside Montesano Jr./Sr. High School yesterday prompted a quick police response and a precautionary lockdown. Officials say the message resembled a threat discovered on Monday at an Aberdeen school, raising concern but not panic. Police and sheriff’s deputies investigated and say there is no sign of an immediate danger to students or staff. Officers will continue to be visible at school events as a safety measure.
