City officials and the fire chief will discuss the proposal this Wednesday, at 6:30 at City Hall.
There’s an important correction for Montesano voters considering the fire levy. The fire department says the voters’ pamphlet understates the proposed increase. It would be about $1.52 per $1,000 of assessed property value, instead of 40 cents. That would bring the rate to $3.22, up from about $1.70. The department says the ballot itself is correct. Have questions? City officials and the fire chief will discuss the proposal this Wednesday, at 6:30 at City Hall.
