New North Beach School District Superintendent Not Leaving

Dr. Shank is the third superintendent of that district in the past few years

The new North Beach School District Superintendent will not be leaving after all. Dr. Jim Shank was a finalist for the Longview School District’s next head administrator position, but on Friday, the school board announced the selection of an assistant superintendent from a Spokane area district. Dr. Shank is from Longview and applied for the position a few months ago after accepting the Superintendent position at North Beach and signing a three-year contract last summer. Dr. Shank is the third superintendent of that district in the past few years.
